Tortoiseshell Butterfly Brooch

A striking Tortoiseshell Butterfly, embroidered in bright orange with yellow and black markings and lace-effect edging on its wings.

The brooch is handcrafted from many layers of fabrics which are embroidered and painted to create a three-dimensional effect. The reverse is backed with soft felt and the edges are sealed so that the fabric does not fray.  Perfect to pin on a scarf, hat or lapel. Comes packaged in a bespoke gift box.

Goes particularly well with our Mariposa Valley and Geo wool scarves, Geo silk scarf or Geo Gelato linen scarf.
